Roaming Improvements

Smoother, more reliable WiFi roaming with improved transitions between access points. Access points can now discover and advertise neighboring APs that aren’t directly within wireless range, improving roaming performance in sparsely populated deployments, alongside other roaming reliability enhancements.

Force WiFi 4 Mode

Wireless networks can now be configured to operate in WiFi 4 mode, improving compatibility with legacy WiFi clients that may experience connectivity or interoperability issues with newer standards.

For the best balance of performance and legacy device support, we recommend using a dedicated WiFi broadcast for legacy clients.

Extended VLAN support on U7 In-Wall 

U7 In-Wall Ethernet ports now support VLANs across the full 802.1Q range, enabling deployments that require a significantly larger number of isolated networks. This improves flexibility for large-scale and high-density environments with advanced network segmentation requirements.
