We are trying to track down what the cause of this communication is, and to disable it if possible.

On AirMax there was a way to disable checking for automatic updates, but I do not see any way to do so on AirFiber.

Does anyone know what that IP's purpose is, and why all of our AirFiber are trying to reach out to it? Thanks in advance!

Question about the reliability of the UISP design center

I used the design center to build out my new 60 gHz network. we have recently started the install and have up out backbone of two Airfiber 60 XG units at a distance of 1.75 km. The design center shows that even with MAX rainfall of 21mm/h we should still have 6 Gbps available across the link.

But today we had a heavy rainfall that was nowhere near 21 mm/h and this is what I had for connection;

Is this typical that the design center is so far off in the estimates? I know there will be some loss with 60 gHz, but we were nowhere close to 21 mm/h and the connection was down completely and running 5 gHz. What is a reasonable expectation for the 60 gHz link at 1.75 km?

Bug - Not returing correct bridge table in web UI

Hello -

On many ubiquity models, the WebUI has helpful 'More details' link, which opens up and can show you the arp table and the bridge table. The bridge table will list all of the macs sorted by which bridge and interface (WLAN0 or LAN)) each mac is learned by.

I have discovered however that, on at least AirFiber 5XHD, the bridge table display here omits the LAN interface and only shows macs learned over WLAN0. When I log into the unit with ssh and use 'brctl showmacs br0', this also is the case oddly enough. However, if I use 'brmacs' from the cli, then I do get a correct json output showing all macs on the bridge with the correct interface (wlan0 or data). This is on v1.5.6 current.

I understand there is integration at the hardware level between the 'wlan' and 'data' port so I don't expect the standard brctl tool to work, but the supplied 'brmacs' command does have the right data and so that is what I am expecting the webui to reflect.

This IPTV service markets itself as offering 24,000+ live TV channels with support for 4K streaming, multi‑device compatibility, and competitive pricing, making it a serious all‑in‑one option for sports, movies, series, and international TV.

Official website: IPTVProvider.me

What is IPTVProvider.me?

IPTVProvider.me is a paid IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) subscription service.

On the Airfiber 24 datasheet, it claims that the radio supports an MTU up to 9600. Unfortunately, on firmware 4.1.0 which we run in production, there is no option to change MTU in the settings GUI. It looks like I may be able to set the MTU by manually editing a config file and re-uploading it, but this doesn't seem like a very stable/reliable thing to do in production.

Are there previous versions of the AF24 firmware that maybe supported this setting? Is there some other way to enable it? Or am I just stuck having to use MSS clamping on AF24 links?
