IPTV providers often specify:

How many simultaneous connections are allowed (e.g., 1, 2, 3+).

Before subscribing, check on IPTVProvider.me:

Whether your chosen package includes multi‑connection support.

Whether there are any restrictions (same network, same household, etc.).

5. What should I do if channels are buffering or not working?

Answer:

Try the following steps:

Check your internet speed and stability (restart your modem/router).

If possible, switch from Wi‑Fi to Ethernet (wired).

Reduce playback quality from 4K to FHD/HD in your player, if supported.

Test a different IPTV player app on the same device.

Contact IPTVProvider.me support with your issue (include device type, app name, whether you tried different servers if available).

6. Is there a free trial or money‑back guarantee?

Answer:

Trial and refund policies vary by provider and can change over time. You should:

Check the “Pricing” / “Plans” / “FAQ” pages on IPTVProvider.me.

Look specifically for terms like “Trial,” “Demo,” “Refund policy,” or “Money‑back guarantee.”

If the information is unclear, contact their support and ask for written clarification before you pay.

After upgrading to 2.0.2 on two separate SolarPoint devices, 'Device Location' seemed to be reset and no forecasting data shown. Device location had been reset to 'Null Island'(?) Updating the device location did not seem to stick; next login the info was lost again. There also seemed to be a significant delay after logging in in showing the 'Energy Collection' data. After reading in the firmware notes that password requirements had been updated to 12 characters, I decided to see if updating my password to be compliant made a difference. It did and both the device location and forecast data reappeared as before the firmware update. Note: the password upgrade was not enforced at the time of firmware update.

I hope this saves someone some time.

Hi everyone,

I’ve been using a SolarPoint SM-SP-40 for about a week, and it suddenly stopped receiving proper power from my solar panel. No matter how strong the sunlight is, it only pulls around 4 watts from my 100W 12V solar panel. During the first three days it worked normally. When I connect the same panel to my BLUETTI AC70, it consistently gets around 90 watts, so the panel itself seems fine.

I checked the documentation and it doesn’t look like the SM-SP-40 has any user-accessible fuse. I also tested the NTC on the battery negative—if I disconnect it, the input drops from 4W to 0W.

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this issue?

Thanks!

I'm wondering this before ordering. Wouldn't it be a problem if I bought a SunMax Solar Point to connect it to a solar panel, a battery, a UDB-PRO access point, and three G6 cameras? And the UDB-PRO connects to the UDB-PRO-SECTOR (distance about 350 to 450m), all connected to the switch, the Dreammachine, and the UNIFI UNVR.

So, the question is, since the SunMax is part of UISP, is this an incompatibility issue with UNIFI hardware?

What do you think? Is this feasible?

Edgerouter X recently started rebooting ~5x a day, maybe just overheating, but why... ? How to investigate?

My trusty ER-X is connected to a Comcast cable modem on the WAN side and to the rest of my house LAN through the various ports. It recently started rebooting several times a day. Usually people in the house would complain "the internet is down", and once I was around to troubleshoot, I found the ER-X was unresponsive (not even replying to ping from the LAN). However, it tended to resolve itself / reboot on its own.

First thing I tried was to upgrade from firmware v2.0.9-hotfix-7 (last official release, from 2023) to the beta firmware v3.0.0-rc.9 but that didn't seem to fix the instability.

Then I opened the chassis and measured temperatures of around 55C with a thermal camera on the main chip with the small heatsink.

I did have cases in the past where adding a larger heatsink or a fan was the definite solution in restoring stability to various routers/cable modems, so on a hunch, I cut a hole in the chassis and added a 40mm fan (sorry to my trusty ER-X). Now the temperatures on the main chip are around 35C and stability seems better (pending longer testing, though).

Still, this is a bit odd... The router is in the cool basement not exposed to external heat, so why would it be suddenly overheating? Could it be due to some external intrusion (attempt?) activity? Or perhaps just from legitimate increased bandwidth and electromigration after many years of running that might effectively degrade the heat tolerance of the chip over time?

Is there any logging I can enable and share with the community (and how to sanitize it?) to look for signs of intrusion trouble?

CPU load is really low from what I can tell. The only unusual thing might be that I have my ER-X mounted upside down against the bottom of the basement stairs, so heat rising up might collect against the PCB rather than rising out of the chassis. But I think it has worked well in this orientation for years.

If you can give me some pointers, I'm happy to try and investigate this some more.

Attachments:

ER-X running dashboard.png

I have used ER4 for a month. Now when I log into the console, I find that some functions are missing (attachment: EdgeMAX_1.1.png). Even the System function below cannot be used (attachment: EdgeMAX_2.2.png). There are also some problems with the CLI interface (attachment: ER4-CLI.png).

There are also problems with getting stuck on the login screen. Even after entering the correct account and password, I still cannot log in.

How can I solve this problem? Ideally, I don’t want to restart or reset ER4.

Edgerouter 4 - Multiple subnets on single port (using L2 switches only)

Hello World,

I work for a small company which makes a large use of connected devices which recently make the single subnet overflow. I've bought an Edgerouter 4 which I successfully managed to configure in generating 2 subnets (on eth1 and eth2) which exchange data between them and access to the internet on eth0 (where a Fritz!BOX 7530 is connected).

I'm stuck on finding a way to configure the Edgerouter 4 to have multiple subnets on a single port (e.g. eth2) in order to connect more than 254 devices on that single port (with Layer 2 switches only).

ETH0 - Modem (Fritz!BOX 7530)

ETH1 - 192.168.2.1/24...L2 Switch...Servers

ETH2 - 192.168.3.1/24...L2 Switch...Users

192.168.4.1/24...L2 Switch...More Users

...

ETH3 - Unused

I tried multiple ways, like creating VLAN (on the same eth2 and adding a DHCP+Firewall rules on that ) or trying to extend eth2 network (192.168.3.1/23) but with no success. But maybe this is because of my lack of knowledge in how it is feasible or not.

Can you point me out the correct path in doing this? (maybe with web interface considering that I'm really not into IT).

Thanks in advance,

LG
