Do you plan to propose CPE for XGS PON ?

Especially with :

• 4x 2,5 Eth ports
• ONT XGS PON integrated to support 10/10G from OLT
• WiFi 7 with external antennas to extend signal if necessary and mesh capabilities
• 1x USB 3.1 ports for media server, printer...
• Integration with UniFI 5G Backup to propose automatic fail-over when WAN (ONT port) is detected as down

Needs is to cut couple ONT+CPE from other brand. We prefer one CPE.

I have some questions about UISP FiberXGSPON. We want to use it in a commercial ISP context for large-scale B2C and B2B operations. This involves over 70 connection points (central offices) and thousands of subscribers generating internet, VoIP, and video (live TV and streaming) traffic.

About video :

• Does it handle QoS well, particularly video traffic management?

About optics :

• Regarding XGS-PON optics, are the OLT-side optics SFP Class E1 or E2?

About CPE :

• As for the CPE, is it possible to use SFP modules that plug directly into a Fritzbox CPE SFP module, rather than having an ONT module separate from the CPE?

About provisionning / API / system :

• Are there APIs for managing billing, support, the customer portal, etc.?
• Does NetBox also offer simplified management—for example, for automatically assigning public IPv4 or IPv6 addresses to clients?
• Is there a CGNAT mode for IPv4?
• Regarding lawful interception and logs, is there any tracking of the IP addresses assigned to subscribers?
• Is there a traffic shaping model for subscribers to prioritize, for example, B2B traffic over B2C traffic?

Any idea why I keep seeing packet loss between my EdgeRouter 4 -> OLT4 (SFP+ port) ?

My setup "SmokePing server <-> Fiber <-> EdgeRouter 4 SFP port - EdgeRouter ETH0 <-> OLT4 SFP+"

Why do I have 0.18% average and 3.52% top Packet Loss ?

I have swapped the RJ45 SFP module to a brand new SFP to RJ45 Adapter (UACC-CM-RJ45-1G), and also used a complete new RJ45 patchcable.

My router detects link, but no link on OLT ?

In the web configuration, the conntrack module SIP is not enabled, but the client's phone doesn't work. After a lot of troubleshooting, we saw that the SIP conntrack module was in fact enabled while not mentionned in GUI.

To disable it we have to enable the conntrack module in GUI then disable it and then the phone works again.

I didn't find any subject in the community mentionning this issue and this seems to happen to a very restricted number of devices. The router is in version 4.10.1 as is the XGS OLT managing the device. The update to 4.10.3 has not been done yet after seeing the number of people complains about it.

Hope someone or ubiquiti has a solution to this.

Is there any possibility of the UISP-FIBER-OLT-XGS (and OLT Pluggables) becoming a US BABA compliant part, essentially final PCB assembly performed in the United States? I am interested in using UISP fiber for a BABA project for about 1500 homes and the ONUs should qualify for a BABA waiver because they have a built in routing / gateway functionality - however the OLTs do not qualify for a waiver for final assembly.

If it's of any interest, there is about 40 Billion in US BEAD funding hitting the ground over the next few years which is exclusively earmarked for broadband deployment. I would like the option to stay with Ubiquiti for the project and not have another brand I have no experience with crammed down.

I am looking for some more information which I haven't found within the API...

It will provide a bunch of information, but what it doesn't provide is all the 'device manager' information, and it doesn't provide the mac address table.

Am I just missing or looing at the wrong spot?

i fear that the olt4 has bad 10g sfp+ port, because i was not able to establish 10g link on sfp+ port - regardless of module, dac cable etc. Only 1g was possible.

Now i tried another olt4 - it worked until i restored there my old config. With old config again 1g only was possible on wan sfp+ link.

So i assume, that hw is not the problem and i diffed default factory configs and my config (showed using ssh and show configuration commands).

The problem is here:

Bad config - only 1g functional:

set interfaces nni sfp+1 speed auto

Working config, 10g speed possible:

set interfaces nni sfp+1 speed auto-detect

Maybe it helps someone else too..

**Edit: The Unifi optic im refering to in this post is the fiber instant GPON UISP optic

We recently completed an upgrade project for our GPON system, and now have over 100 of the UF-Wifi-US ONUs for sale. These are all working pulls, so some scratches and other cosmetic things may be present, but the units were 100% working when pulled.

I'm trying to replace my current Fiber Nano with a UISP-FIBER-XGS and when I login to the UISP-FIBER-XGS admin page (user:ubnt) I can't find the menu "GPON" in order to configure the Idont PLOAM password.

What I'm missing?

It has been over a year and still no news of the release of this product whats suppose to be so hard to get a simple port OLT ?

And why its to hard to put 20 wavefiber onu on a package and sell them ? Its write Coming Soon since the product is released ...

I'm alone to wait for these product ?

Could we please have a WaveFiber version that works with USB B or C as well?
