While UniFi already supports IPv6, DHCPv6, SLAAC, DS-Lite, and MAP-E (v6 Plus/OCN), it does not currently support the generic RFC2473 tunnel required by these providers.

Adding RFC2473 support would allow many customers to replace the ISP router and use UniFi gateways directly on FTTH connections without additional devices or workarounds.

Please consider adding native RFC2473/IPIP6 support in a future UniFi OS release. This feature would greatly improve compatibility with modern IPv6-based ISP deployments across Europe.

Looking at when I got this message the memory dropped right after and there's a gap in the status (kind of like when Net App gets updated). Something likely crashed and released memory. The memory seems to run a bit too high between 91 and 93 but it's very choppy. Everything appeared to be OK until 01:54:48 when a USW Flex 2.5G that's connected to the gateway, and a U7 Lite that’s connected to the switch, both went offline. Another U7 Lite that meshes with the wired one then went offline at 01:57:19.

It’s only a small home network with 2 APs, so at that point there was no WiFi access. I was aware that updates were due, so I initially assumed they had bricked the UCG Ultra. I restarted the gateway via the power cable, and fortunately it restarted successfully, and everything has been okay since (currently ~4 hours later).

Although the USW Flex 2.5G going offline took down the WiFi shortly after the updates, interestingly I didn’t need to power cycle it to restore the network, which suggests the issue was probably with the UCG Ultra.

Another minor issue following the update, is that the network app had forgotten it’s Dark Theme setting. It may have ‘forgotten’ other settings, but if so, they’re not as immediately obvious.

I’ll report back if instability continues, but hopefully it’s just a one off.

My /var/log/messages is full of "oom" alerts for that time period. Running SQM, IDS and Traffic ID on a 500/50 Cable Modem. Should not be too taxing for this router. Will upgrade to 5.1.1 as soon as convenient to see if this is somehow fixed.

How do I send you support files? I don't see the "private file" box on public threads like this. Should I create my own thread for an EA?

Has anyone been having any intermittent disconnect issues since the update (5.0.12 + 10.1.84)? i am having multiple network outages per day that require full system restarts. Very inconvenient especially as i am server hosting and its causing disruptions. Not sure if someone has a solution but i figured posting here would be a good first step.
