I have just purchased 4 environmental sensors to use as temperature sensors in my network, but when unpacking and starting up the sensor does not make it show up in the UI interfaces anywhere for adoption. Not on the network app and not on the Protect app. I do have a UPSense sensor which was adopted fairly easily, so I do guess my access points allow for it: I have 2 AP 6LR's and 1 AP7, of which the 2 AP6's are enabled and linked in the Protect app.

Does anyone have an idea on how to adopt these, and why isn't there a button to search for a new device, or is there?

The light upon starting up remains white, until in a few minutes it turns off. I tried resetting it numerous times, didn't work.

Frankly, I am at an impasse, unfortunately I opened all the boxes already otherwise I would have immediately sent them back.

Please let me know if I am missing something or if the setup simply wont work with these sensors.

Best regards, Roderik

This feature has changed a lot and I am no longer sure about it. Does anyone know if your continuous archiving hits its budget, does the oldest footage get replaced automatically or does it just stop completely until you manually deal with the issue?
[FEATURE REQUEST] G6 Pro 360: let us set the default dewarped view direction

Ceiling-mounted G6 Pro 360 here. The dewarped view in Protect opens centered on an arbitrary direction, and there's no way to define which direcon, and there's no way to define which direction is "up" or where the default viewport points. The camera seats into its ceiling mount at a fixed rotatiod rotation — there's no way to spin it to re-aim the default view, so the only physical fix is remounting the base rotated.

Please add:

A per-camera rotation offset ("reference direction") for 360 cameras, so the dewarped/panoramic default view points where we choose.

A saved default digital-PTZ position (pan/tilt/zoom) that persists across restarts, on web and mobile.

The full 360° is still recorded either way — this only changes the default viewport. This has been requested for the AI 360 for years:

https://community.ui.com/questions/How-do-i-set-my-AI360-camera-default-view-to-dewarped-and-to-a-particular-field-of-view/80feb2f3-4684-4a8c-987f-f6b73ff701cf

https://community.ui.com/questions/360-Camera-Feature-Requests/8a9f738f-d417-4b1b-8f24-8a66ea96cc4a

https://community.ui.com/questions/G6-360-Camera-Wall-Mount/37db8655-1ab8-499b-bb18-c9e0410a533e
